The Association of Rubber Technologists, commonly known as ART, is celebrating its decinnial year, joining hands with its parent, the MIT in its Golden Jubilee Year.

In connection, a NATIONAL LEVEL TECHNICAL SYMPOSIUM ELASTOFEST’99 has been planned to be held on 9^th and 10^th of April.

Students from all over the nation are invited for the various competitions such as, Paper Presentation, Technical & General Quizzes, Mind Sizzlers and other interesting informal events.

It has also been planned to arrange for a panel discussion of technical experts on the hottest issues of the Rubber World.

In this regard, we request you to kindly support us, in conducting this mega programme.

PANEL DISCUSSION

• Eminent Personalities from the Rubber and Plastics field would discuss on some of the hottest topics of the Industry.

• General awareness is a must for the budding technologists in the growing competitive world.

A lot of informal, technical events like trouble shooting, crosswords, etc., would be conducted on both the days.

• Boarding and lodging for all the students
• Certificates of Appreciation for the students.

Students pursuing in the fields of Rubber Technology, Polymer Technology, Plastics Technology, Chemical Engineering and Textile Technology from the various institutions in the states of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, West Bengal, Pondicherry and New Delhi are expected.

• Multi-colour attractive posters, bearing the main-sponsor’s name, along with inviting letter from the Head of the Division would be sent well in advance to the Institutions.
• Later, intimations of selected papers will be done telegraphically.
• Invitations to the function would be sent t o the Institutions and the Industry
