Aerospace Engineering - Programmes

The Department has also conducted few National Conferences and Workshops under TEQIP:

          * “Recent Advances in Computational Methods in Aerospace Engineering”. The Conference was       held  at M.I.T., Chennai on 24th & 25th February 2006.

           * A National Seminar on “CHANGING TRENDS IN CIVIL AVIATION IN INDIA” on 2nd and 3rd March,  2007 at M.I.T., Chennai.

           * Short Term courses for HAL Management Trainees during the year 2006 from 12/6/06 to 14/7/07 and during the year 2007 from 7/5/07 to 27/6/07.

The Department is conducting an annual event viz. Prof.S.Narasimhan’s Endowment Lecture in which Distinguished alumnus of this Department have
been invited to deliver lectures.

The students admitted in the Department of Aerospace Engineering are eligible for a Flight Training Program at the end of their VI Semester held at IIT, Kanpur.
Also an Annual Meet of the students `FLIGHT’ is being conducted every year inviting students from other colleges also.
