IN-PLANT TRAINING:


In addition to the theoretical knowledge acquired by students in classroom, the department takes a keen interest in sending the students to the industries for training to get a practical experience. This program is conducted as a part of our curriculum, through which students’ gets exposure to the industrial practices. Students are sent to a large array of industries so that they can visualize the subject studied in class room. This training has an added value during the placement program.

Apollo tires (Kerala and Baroda), IRMRA, Mumbai, Sundaram TVS, Emerald tires, Brakes India, Anabond, Devi polymers, Mguru plastics, Bymer ElastomerS (Nasik), Hanil automotive , etc.

  • Latex based societal healthcare products development for laboratory - An AICTE sponsored   Project on Modernization of Rubber Moulding Facilities, Project Cost Rs.1 million.
  • A Research Project on Studies on Polymer
  • Leather Composites and their recycling sponsored by the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India – Project cost Rs.0.318 million
  • A Research project on Development and Evaluation of EPDM Rubber
