Youth Red Cross in MIT tries to conduct few activities regularly so that the innate interests of students can be vividly served to the society. At the end of each academic year the first year volunteers are exposed to a 10 day camp activity where the YRC tries to bring upliftment in the social welfare of a village during those ten days. Extending a helping hand is visualized as God in disguise for people in despair. Saving life is the virtue of mankind. YRC takes an initiative to organize a blood donor’s list and the needy call form hospitals are tenderly attended with the help of our blood donors. This activity of YRC is better planned so that the blood donors can be reached immediately to serve the suffering. Conducting medical camp is to ensure healthy survival of students. These camps are also conducted at the villages during annual camp activity with the help of medical college students. YRC in MIT is not bound to the campus but it spreads its fragrance beyond the boundaries.
