You are all aware that many of our Alumni are holding very responsible positions in Organizations in India and Abroad, Many others have become very successful entrepreneurs. There is something unique about our almamater, which made us all go out into the wide world with tremendous confidence and chalk out our path.

The new millennium is upon us, and we want to impart a new momentum so that MIT continues to be an unique institution. That is why the alumni association is backing fully the efforts to bring in new disciplines in MIT, vital for the future, which will continue to make MIT the unique institution, which we all know it is.

Hence the appeal to all alumni of the institute to donate on the occasion of the golden Jubilee Celebration. We might perhaps mention that at a recent meeting of the alumni it was suggested that each should donate as much as possible. It was felt a contribution of US$ 100 would go a long way to help us achieve our objective.
