MECHATRONICS Engineers top EDUCATOR'S DAY 2010 - NI-YANTRA

 

                  A Low cost CNC Machine built by a team of MECHATRONICS students was short-listed as one of the top 5 projects in Ni-Yantra, a National-level competition organized by the US technology firm, National Instruments. "The project is in its infant stage and there is a large scope for improvement", stated Dr.A.Rajadurai HOD PT, who guided the student team along with Prof G. Muralidharan. The team working on it won the 2nd place ( 50000 Cash ) in EDUCATORS'S DAY 2010 for designing the Machine. The event took place in Chennai trade Center 13th and 14th of December.

                 The prizes were distributed by Jayaram Pillai, Managing Director, NI-India Russia and Arabia.
