Workshop on Electric Two Wheeler Design
Department of Automobile Engineering and SAEINDIA Southern section jointly organised two-day workshop on “Electric Two Wheeler Design” 0n 25th January and 26th January 2020.
About the Workshop
Most automobile companiesare vowing to switch to electric, a cleaner and sustainable
alternative. There is a surge in demand for skilled workforce inelectric and hybrid vehicle technologies. But the industry is facinga shortage of aptly skilled workforce needed for the transition.This two-day workshop aims at addressing the gap and deliversthe fundamentals, advanced knowledge and hands-on lab sessionsin design, analysis, control and operatingcharacteristics Electric Two Wheeler.
A team of experts fromAVL India and Autodesk India conducted the session related to Vehicle Architecture,Powertrain Design Calculations, Suspension, Brakes & Steering system- Design calculation, Frame – Design & FEA,Motor & Battery overview,Controller & Power Electric drive, Safety, Regulation & Homologation.
Around 290 students from 8 states across India participated in this workshop.
