Mountain climbing gives the climber an exhilarating experience. However, anyone looking to enter the sport needs to understand that it can be dangerous if you are not prepared for the mountain you plan to take on. 

Homefest is the  cultural and sports festival of Madras Institute of Technology Hostels. The festival is held during the month of April every year.

Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) has a huge and spectacular sports facility covering an area of 28 acres of land at the MIT Main Campus and at Annexure (Rani Thottam) - one km away from the Main Campus.
